Marvelous Magnolia - New DT Announcement

Happy Lunchtime :)

Today I super excited to announce our new challenge blog Marvelous Magnolia goes live in two days time on 1st November.

I have been busy with Rina behind the scenes getting everything ready and helping to chose the DT - WOW we had some amazing entries and it was so difficult to chose but in the end we managed to narrow it down to some great artists, I cannot believe I will be creating along side them and just hope I can keep up with their great standard. Just wait to you see them on Thursday.

We are a weekly challenge which takes place every Thursday and we have two teams Pink and Purple.

We do not limit entries into other challenges, you may enter your project in as many challenges as you like and we are allowing up to two entries into our challenge.

We have some great sponsor and prizes lined up from Magnolia-Licious, Marker Pop, Ribbon Girl and Live and Love Crafts to name a few.

Please drop over to Marvelous Magnolia and see who are on the team and don't forget to have a look on Thursday when the first challenge goes live.

Eclectic Ellapu - Halloween - Kenny K - Elf Queen

Happy Sunday Lunch Time

Today sees a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu and it is my first post as a new DT member on the Purple Team.  I nearly backed out of the the team as life is getting in the way of crafting, but Elaine said she understood and if I could not make a challenge not to worry - isn't she lovely.

Eclectic Ellapu only started a week ago and we had an amazing 127 entries in the first week, pretty good going for a new blog, there is is some seriously talented ladies in the DT so please drop over if you haven't already and have a look.  We are a weekly blog but with two design teams Pink and Purple.

So without further ado here is my card - the theme this week is halloween.  I made my own background with distress inks, Marmalade, Black Soot, Concorde.  The web background was made on my CraftRobo.  The die cuts I bought on eBay.

The image is from Kenny K and is called Elf Queen, quite enjoyed colouring her in, I started off with a sort of grey/black hair but it seemed to turn purple at some stage... LOL.

Hope you like my spooky card.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges.

Halloween Hat

Good Morning,
I would like to show you something which I made yesterday, a spur of the moment thing, I had a day off work and I wanted to make something for Halloween and came up with this.

A witches hat, this is a 50p hat which I bought from Asda, I padded it out with kitchen roll and covered in Modge Podge and purple crepe paper.

I made a frill around the rim of the hat with black webbing, I added lots of orange and black spiders, also from Asda.

The spider and web I cut out with my Craft Robo, the sentiment I made on my laptop.

I made flowers with orange and black crepe paper using 3 different sizes of scalloped circles.

I had great fun making this - I hope you like it.  It will have pride of place in my porch on Halloween, we always get lots of children visiting, Trick or Treating.

I would like to enter my hat into the following challenges.  - Spooky - Halloween Party - Halloweenie - Halloween Spirit Spooky - Halloween - halloween - halloween - Halloween - Halloween _ Halloween Treats - halloween - Halloween =Halloween - Halloween - Halloween

Fashionista Challenge - Kenny K - Sexy Teacher

Good Afternoon Blogging Buddies,

Today starts a new challenge for Fashionista and this month our theme is a huge favorite of everyone's - Anything Goes and we are sponsored this time by the amazing Kenny K, I love Kenny K images and I chose Sexy Teacher for my son's girlfriend who is of course a teacher.

This actually looks a bit like Jess, who has lovely blonde wavy hair and extra long legs to die for.  Only thing is I have not coloured her eyes in yet as I cannot remember what colour they are and keep forgetting to ask Kevin.  Jessica's favorite colour is purple so - an easy decision on the basis of the card.

I made another of my concertina cards, using MS PATP punch they take a little longer but I do enjoy making them.

On the left hand side I intend to stuff some money or a gift card.

The right hand side holds a little gift tag.

Hope you enjoy my card.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges - Anything - Favourite Things - purple, flower die cut, Dreamcatcher paper - Flowers - Punches - Tags - Tag it

New Kid on the Block - Eclectic Elleapu

Hi Everyone,

There is a new challenge blog going live today - Eclectic Ellapu please drop over and see the amazing work from these talented ladies and if you like what you see become and follower and even enter their super easy challenge this week which is Anything Goes, we all like this one :).  There are two teams (Pink and Purple) and they post once team posts a new challenge each week.

Why am I telling you about it, well I was asked by the lovely Elaine to join in with the purple team and I made my first challenge card which goes live on 21st October some time ago.  Since then things have changed in my life and I am struggling to complete any cards so I resigned from another challenge team and this one also, but Elaine being the lovely, super person she is said I was to take my time not resign and just make the challenges when I can.  Isn't she lovely?

So please go over the the Eclectic Ellapu blog and give them your support and don't forget to have a look at my creation which goes live next week at this time.

Thank you Elaine for believing in me and giving me a chance.

Anniversary Card - LOTV Close your Eyes

Hello Blogging Buddies,

I would like to say welcome to my new followers and also thank you to my regular followers I do appreciate you.  Life is not too easy at the moment and I have resigned from two of my DT posts as I just have no time for crafting, I am also sorry I have not been a good blogging friend as I have not had chance to get round your blogs either. As luck would have it I have quite a few cards which have never been published so I will be loading those up over the next few weeks.

So my first card I made a month or so ago for our wedding anniversary.

I made a belly band with a Cheery Lynn heart die on the top, such a beautiful die.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.  Flowers are from WOC.

Once the belly band comes off you can just glimpse the stamp inside.

I cut the card wrapper on the craftrobo.

Here is a close up of the image by Lili of the Valley called Close your Eyes.
I hope that you like my card as much as my husband did.

Anything Goes - Animals - Mo Manning - Lhasa Apso

Good Morning Blogging Friends,

Don't forget to enter my Voucher Candy - link on the right :).

Today sees a new challenge over at Anything Goes and this fortnight our challenge theme is Animals.  I have a ton of family Christmas cards to make so when I came across this Mo Manning image of a Lhasa Apso I knew just who to make it for.

I made this card for my Brother-in-law and his wife who have of course a Lhasa Apso, called Roxi.  I saw this type of card on Coops blog a while ago and I thought at the time that it would make a great Christmas card.

Close up of the Memory Box bauble die and Marianne small Poinsettia - I sprayed them with glue and then added red glitter.

This is the reverse side which I also covered with paper and added a verse.

Close up of 'Roxi' - plenty of room on the hat for Glamour Dust.

Please drop over to the Craft Den where you can buy many of the things I used on my card.

Also please see other amazing designs my team mates have made this challenge, I hope you see your card there too

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges. - Glitter & Bling - Anything Goes - Celebration (Xmas) - Anything Goes - Christmas
